About Sealed vials
Empty vials in Type I borosilicate glass, autoclaved and sealed with a butyl stopper fitted and an aluminium flip-off cap crimped, so they are ready to fill without further preparation. 10 ml, in packs of 5 and 10, and a vial kit with loose vials, stoppers and caps for anyone who crimps their own. Same glass and closures as our bacteriostatic water, so everything on the bench matches. For laboratory use only.
How are the vials prepared?
They are autoclaved, then sealed with a butyl stopper fitted and an aluminium flip-off cap crimped, so they are ready to fill.
What is the difference between a vial pack and the vial kit?
Packs come sealed and capped, ready to fill. The kit has vials, stoppers and caps supplied loose for anyone who crimps their own.
What glass are the vials made from?
Type I borosilicate glass, the same glass as our bacteriostatic water vials.
